I have a Substack now. I recently heard that there was some interesting and concerning things going on with Substack, so I will repost my Substack articles here on my OG blog until I can figure out what I want to do. The next few posts, as well as this one will be reposts.
Visions of Past and Future is the ramblings, thoughts, and feelings of someone trying to make sense of the world around us as it stands today. VOPAF is written by Jai-Shirelle Marshall, former fashion blogger of The Fat and Skinny on Fashion and writer of JaiShirelle.life. These musings on fashion, beauty, art, culture, spirituality, and life are a stream of consciousness that lets her put her thoughts, faves, and other interesting finds in one place.
I’m still not sure what this place is going to be like for me. I feel like I need an old school Tumblr like outlet for my own personal creativity. Not only that, but I need to blog again or something like it. I still have my old Tumblr, but Tumblr isn’t the same anymore. My personal blog, JaiShirelle.life, is more for professional things, and I don’t have my fashion blog The Fat and Skinny on Fashion anymore. You can still check out my old YouTube channel, but that is it from that era.
So here we are at Visions of Past and Future aka JaiShirelle.Substack.com. I got the name from my Neocities site that I work on from time to time. It’s another creative outlet for me. As you can tell, I need creative outlets to live. Seriously… anyway enjoy whatever this is.
Maybe I will post a pic, write an essay, or put out a video. I want to post about fashion and beauty, art and culture, spirituality, and life as I see it. Think of this as an open air diary of sorts. Again, welcome to Visions of Past and Future. I really do hope you enjoy the show.
